What are Enclosure International's qualifications?

We are fully licensed and insured, with more than 35 years in business in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, many of our employees are industry veterans with over 40 years of individual experience.

What experience does your company have handling high-value items?

Over the past 35 years, we have securely and efficiently shipped high-value art, antiques, furniture, pianos, collections, heirlooms, and more. We work closely with auction houses such as Sotheby's, Christie's, and Bonhams & Butterfields, providing them with professional packing, shipping, storing, and installation services for their high-value items. We also have extensive experience handling high-value estate and interior designer consolidations.

Can you arrange shipment of my items?

Yes; we have longstanding relationships with all the major carriers and can arrange secure, cost-effective shipment to almost anywhere world.

What are your shipping options?

We can coordinate reliable and secure local, statewide, national, and international shipping through major ocean, air, rapid delivery, and LTD freight carriers. We also offer door-to-door shuttle service--we can pick up and/or drop off shipments at your door in the following California counties:

What types of items do you pack, crate, ship, and store?

We can pack, crate, ship, and store almost any item you can think of, from paintings by the masters and valuable antiques to CAT scan machines and custom motorcycles. While we specialize in crating, packing, shipping, storing, tracking, and installing high-value art and antiques, we also have more than 35 years of experience handling a variety of other items in a full range of weights, shapes, and sizes. Do you require a minimum order size or quantity?

No, we do not have any minimum requirements. The best way to tell what the cost of your order will be is to call us and receive a fast, free quote based on your specifications.

Can I order a crate or crates without packing and shipping services?

Yes; many of our clients purchase empty crates from us to pack and ship themselves. If you need custom crating for personal use, or for your company's shipping department, we'll design and manufacture it for you with fast turnaround. And if you need help packing your crate, especially in the case of delicate, oddly-shaped, or high-value items, we're happy to assist you.

If Enclosures International is handling my shipment, should I pack and crate my items at my location or at your facility?

We do almost all the packing and crating of items for shipment at our facility. This is because each of our wooden crates is custom made for your specific items, so having them at our facility helps ensure a correct fit, secure packing, and efficient turnaround time.

Do you carry standard/pre-made wooden crates?

No; all of our wooden crates are custom designed and manufactured for your specific items. This ensures cost-effective and secure shipment. But we offer our custom crating services at a great value, so you don't need to worry about high prices.

Do you carry standard/pre-made cardboard boxes?

Yes we do.

When can I safely use a cardboard box instead of a wooden crate?

Fragile and high-value items should always be crated. Cardboard boxes can be safely used for lower value, sturdy, lightweight items. What if I already have a UPS or other shipping account?

Don't worry; we can use your account number for your shipment.

What forms of payment do you accept?
